Black Falcons

History

The “Black Falcons” were formed in 2000 to mark the Millennium Celebrations from No. 14 Squadron of the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). They flew five Aermacchi MB-339CB jet trainers, painted in a standard RNZAF color scheme. The planes were equipped with white smoke generators and with fume pods on the wing tips. The team didn't have permanent status and, at the end of that year, they were disbanded.
