Cavallini Rampanti and Cavallino Rampante

Cavallini Rampanti History

The “Cavallini Rampanti” (Prancing Horses) were an Italian Air Force aerobatic team. This team was created in 1950 and flew four De Havilland Vampire MB Mk.51 fighters until 1952, when the team was disbanded. They were a part of 4th Aerobrigata, Grosseto.

Cavallino Rampante History

Cavallino Rampante (Prancing Horse) has been established in 1956 from 4th aerobrigata, as a successor of Cavallini Rampanti but this time flew five Canadair Sabre Mk4 (F-86 Sabre). The team existed until 1957.
